The purpose of this questionnaire is to gather information to help develop a future architecture for Canada.ca. Canada.ca represents the Government of Canada's entire web presence. This includes all publicly accessible web properties, including information, services, pages, microsites, conversational agents, virtual assistants, authenticated and unauthenticated applications, etc. regardless of the domain (canada.ca, .gc.ca or other).
The business requirements you provide here will be complemented by technical requirements gathered from other security, cloud, application and architecture sources to get a complete picture of Canada.ca's business and technical requirements.
The questionnaire includes questions related to the following:
- Functionality required to design, manage and continuously improve Canada.ca. The questionnaire is organized to align with the Business Capabilities Model that is part of the Government of Canada's Integrated Architecture Framework.
- Existing or planned delivery model. In other words, how is, or should, the functionality be available to your organization? Do you want to access a centrally managed service (or a subscription service such as Optimal) or have your organization manage the solution or functionality?
- Integration requirements between features that would simplify work. For example, would integration of prototyping tools and the content management system make it easier to design and launch new web-based information services? If yes, please indicate that this is an integration requirement.
