1. Contact Information

2. Are you graduated from a Pathologist's Assistant Program?
The options available for exams to be written:

1. Submit an educational institution or exam center for CCCPA consideration - additional exam sitting fee responsibility of the examinee. Availability must be confirmed by the examinee prior to the selection as some of these institutions/centres may not be booking on your specified date. Here is a list of educational institutions/exam centres that have offered proctoring services in the past (see list)

2. CAP-ACP Conference

Please allow for at least three weeks between submission of the Exam Location Form and the exam to allow CCCPA to work with the institutions/centres/proctors and ship the materials.

If there are extenuating circumstances, the CCCPA Exam Committee may authorize a proctor (without a conflict of interest) to invigilate your exam. Written requests for this approval must be submitted to info@cccpa-cccap.org

EXAM TIMES
There are three dates per year to write the CCCPA Exams.

In 2026, the dates will be:
1. Friday March 6th
2. Friday July 10th
3. November 20th (to correspond with the CAP-ACP Conference.)

You may select your location and invigilation center from the list provided above.

Important to Note

• Each applicant is allowed a maximum of 3 exam writings within the route of certification that they applied through within 2 years of receiving notice that they are eligible to write the exam. If the applicant is not successful after the third exam attempt, they must re-apply through a different route of certification that they qualify for. The applicant will be allowed 3 exam attempts under the new route of certification; however, this must be done within the deadline of that certification route. All decisions made by the CCCPA may be appealed. The process for appeals can be found here

If you are re-writing an exam, there is a fee of $440 + tax.  Please visit this page to make the payment: Online Event Registration - CCCPA Certification or Recertification Fee (planetreg.com).
