Draft Nursing Education Program Approval Standards

CARNA encourages registered nurses (RNs), nurse practitioners (NPs), and others in Alberta to provide their suggestions and comments on the new DRAFT Nursing Education Program Approval Standards through this survey tool.

Though we are only seeking feedback on the above Standards, the Guide: Preparing a Self-Report for the Nursing Education Program Approval Committee is being shared for additional information. It provides guidance for the educational institution representatives about the evidence that may be submitted to demonstrate that the standards are being or will be met.


This survey will close at 11:59 p.m. on April 25, 2021.
