OHSMS Webinar - Feedback Survey

In January 2020, the City of Ottawa advised that it will phase in a requirement that an occupational health and safety management system (OHSMS), validated by an external third party, must be in place and adhered to by contractors that engage in City work.

On March 30, 2021, NCHCA, OCA and CLAEO held a joint webinar with panel discussion and Q&A on the health and safety management systems acceptable to the City of Ottawa. The panel of health and safety experts discussed the pros and cons of the three acceptable systems to provide information to companies not yet certified.
