K-12 Education Standards Development Committee: Feedback Survey on Initial Recommendations

About this survey

The Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 sets out to identify, prevent and remove barriers for people with disabilities. This supports creating a more accessible Ontario, through the development, implementation and enforcement of accessibility standards that apply to the public, private and not-for-profit sectors.

The role of the Kindergarten to Grade 12 (K-12) Education Standards Development Committee is to develop recommendations for government on reducing and preventing accessibility barriers for students in the publicly funded education system. This work is being done in tandem with another Standards Development Committee, focused specifically on postsecondary education. 

By completing this survey by November 1, 2021, you can help the committee strengthen their recommendations.

The survey is intended to gather your feedback on these recommendations.

After the public feedback period, the 
committee will review all feedback before it submits its final report and recommendations to the Minister for Seniors and Accessibility for consideration.
