Introduction
The Town of La Ronge is undertaking two important recreation planning projects.
- A Parks, Open Space and Trails Master Plan is being developed to establish priorities and focus areas for outdoor recreation and leisure spaces in the community, including parks, trails, sports fields and ball diamonds. The Master Plan will identify opportunities to improve existing amenities as well as potential new projects that could be pursued.
- A Uniplex Facility Assessment / Feasibility Study is being undertaken to further clarify the remaining lifespan of the current Mel Hegland Uniplex facility and identify potential options and costs for a new multi-purpose recreation facility.
Both projects are scheduled for completion in 2021 and will provide Town Council and other stakeholders with a point of reference that can inform future decision making.

Engagement with town and area residents is an important aspect of both projects – your participation in this survey will provide the project team with information that will help them better understand recreation needs and priorities in La Ronge.
