Canola Plant Stand 2021

Seeding 2021: Canola Plant Stand

Manitoba Canola Growers recognize the struggles you as canola farmers have faced this spring trying to establish a strong canola plant stand.  Drought, frost, extreme heat, excess moisture, hail, wind and flea beetles have all taken their toll on canola across the province.

We are beginning to hear concern that this challenging year may be about more than just the environmental stresses, and we would value your insight on what’s happening in your fields.
