Circular Food Innovation Lab application form

Application to participate in the Circular Food Innovation Lab Project

This is an open invitation to all food businesses operating in Vancouver or those working directly with food businesses operating in Vancouver to apply to participate in a game changing project that will help the local food sector reduce avoidable food waste. The Circular Food Innovation Lab project is led by the City of Vancouver in partnership with Emily Carr University of Art + Design and the Vancouver Economic Commission.

The Circular Food Innovation Lab project will identify, test, and modify solutions for preventing and reducing avoidable food waste in your businesses and Vancouver’s food supply chain, leading to less waste and greater profitability.

To learn more about the project, the business benefits and commitments, and the forms that participating businesses will be asked to complete, visit the project page.

The initial due date for business applications is Wednesday April 13, 2022.

The first session is on Wednesday April 27, 2022, from noon to 4:30pm.

We will continue to accept applications until spaces are filled. A limited number of applicants will be selected to participate in the project. The project summary report will be made available to all food businesses operating in Vancouver.

This application will take 15-20 minutes to complete. Your answers will not be saved if you exit the form before submitting. We recommend gathering information before you begin the application. The application checklist is available here.
