FNESC/FNSA Network for Teachers Who Are New to First Nation Schools

The First Nations Education Steering Committee and First Nations Schools Association are pleased to announce a ten-session network opportunity designed for teachers who are working in a First Nation school for the first time.

These sessions will focus on a new draft resource: A GUIDE FOR TEACHERS WHO ARE NEW TO FIRST NATION SCHOOLS IN BC: Context for Considering Teachers’ Important Contributions to First Nation Schools. Network sessions will take place approximately every two weeks and will allow interested participants an opportunity to review sections of the handbook, reflect on their experience and practice, as well as develop long lasting relationships with other teachers. Each session will cover a different topic that specifically relates to teachers working in First Nation schools.

For more information on this network, please see the event flyer or webpage (WEBPAGE).

Participants will be expected to make a commitment to all of the ten sessions. Links for all meetings will be shared after your registration is approved.
