CUP is a collaboration among the University of Alberta and the broader community in and around Edmonton and across Alberta. CUP partners with community organizations to produce and share evidence-based solutions to pressing social issues affecting children, youth, families and communities. The ECN is a network connected closely to CUP and is led by one of CUP's faculty members, Rebecca Gokiert. The ECN builds capacity to do and use evaluation in the early childhood field. CUP and the ECN strive to bridge the research-practice gap by co-producing relevant research and evaluation with its partners that can translate into real-life practice and policy changes.
