On April 1, 2023, the Government of Saskatchewan, in partnership with the Government of Canada, launched the Sustainable Canadian Agricultural Partnership (Sustainable CAP), a five-year, cost-shared agreement to fund various programs and initiatives. It replaced the Canadian Agricultural Partnership (CAP).
The Government of Saskatchewan negotiated the agreement with the Government of Canada and consulted agriculture stakeholders to ensure the programming and initiatives respond to industry needs.
