The First Nations Education Steering Committee (FNESC) and the First Nations Schools Association (FNSA) is hosting a series of information workshops designed specifically to support for First Nation schools that will be hosted in May and June 2024. Workshop: What School Governing Authorities Should Know About Funding for First Nation Schools

This workshop will provide a detailed overview of the BC Tripartite Education Agreement (BCTEA) funding for First Nation schools, as well as tips for creating and monitoring the school budget. The workshop will also explore what additional supports would be helpful.

Please note, this workshop was offered in the Spring of 2023. It is being presented again for people who were unable to attend previously. People who attended this workshop before are welcome to join, understanding the information included is largely unchanged.
