The Tri-Council Policy Statement (TCPS) requires research ethics board (REB) review of ongoing studies. This is achieved for OCREAC through the
Status Report Form. As per OCREAC guideline 2.4, researchers are required to submit a report to OCREAC by
June 30th of the academic year in which the project was approved.
There are two separate sections to this form:
1.
Annual Status Report: This section of the form is to report on the
progress of an ongoing study at the end of the academic year in which the study was approved.
2.
Study Completion Report: This section of the form is for studies that are
completed, and provides a summary of the study and the main findings.
Please note that failure to submit the Status Report Form will result in the refusals of future application by OCREAC.
