Thank you for your interest in Good2Talk's Campus Coordinator Program!
Good2Talk is a free, 24/7, 365 confidential support service for post-secondary students in Ontario and Nova Scotia. Through web messaging, texting and calling Good2Talk, students can receive information and referrals about services and supports for mental health, addictions and well-being on and off campus or connect with a professional counsellor or trained crisis responder. Good2Talk supports post-secondary students of any age, including mature students, in 100+ languages.
Key tasks:
- Complete online training
- Gain knowledge and understanding of Good2Talk services and programs and become confident in discussing them with peers. Additionally, volunteers have opportunities to participate in bonus trainings like our Peer Support Training and Mental Health First Aid if interested.
- Event participation
- Lead or co-lead events and initiatives on campus with fellow volunteers on campus.
- Resource distribution
- Share mental health resources with peers on campus, in your community and beyond.
- Digital advocacy
- Use social media platforms to raise awareness and share relevant resources about Good2Talk.
- Attend online meetings
- Share feedback on your volunteer experience, partake in feedback surveys to provide insight on how to improve the program.
