Jack Talks for Indigenous Youth are:
- Centred in the experience of Indigenous youth
- Made up of two parts:
- A video portion that explains social determinants of mental health from Indigenous perspectives and features curated youth stories about navigating mental health struggle, experiences with stigma and the relationship between culture, community and mental health
- A live sharing circle led by an Indigenous Youth Facilitator who will guide participants in exploring lessons and reflections, using the video portion as the spark for generating group discussion and connection.
- Designed to take place in a classroom or community setting as a way to create a safe and culturally relevant space for Indigenous youth to connect and have an honest discussion about mental health
- Intended for Indigenous people aged 13–29
