Traditional IEP Overview, September 15 OR 23, 2026

The First Nations Education Steering Committee (FNESC) and First Nations Schools Association (FNSA) invites First Nations School LATs and Principals to attend the session, Traditional IEP Overview, on September 15 or 23, 2026.

This session is intended for Learning Assistance Teachers (LATs) and principals who are interested in learning more about the traditional Individual Education Plan (IEP) process. This session will provide an overview of traditional SMART goal IEPs. The workshop will guide participants through the basics of profile development, universal and essential supports, SMART (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Results-oriented, Time-bound) goals, and progress reviews.
