Mamaway Wiidokdaadwin's Grandmothers Circle

This program is designed to support a safe and welcoming environment for Indigenous youth ages 7yrs to 13yrs in the Barrie and surrounding area to learn about their identity, hope, meaning, belonging and purpose.
Elder Diane LongBoat with her Helper’s Elder Cynthia White & Helper Jaqueline Ryan will be leading and guiding during different parts of series including the initial all-day session.
Elder & Lifelong Oshkaabewis Dave Rice & Courtney Thomas will be supporting the children with the learning of the ceremonial dances of the Pow Wow. An idea is to the support the youth by creating regalia for the youth as they learn over the course of the year.
