CHS Social Media Ambassador Application

The Canadian Hematology Society (CHS) is seeking a motivated resident to serve as the Social Media Ambassador on the CHS executive team. This position offers an opportunity to promote education, advocacy, and engagement across the Canadian hematology community. 

Expectations:
•    Successful candidate will sit on the CHS Board of Directors and attend Board and Scientific Planning Committee meetings (approx. 6-8 times a year)
•    Develop and schedule content for CHS social media platforms (e.g., X, LinkedIn, Instagram, approximately 2-4 posts per month), with support from the Scientific

Planning Committee. 
•    Help promote CHS educational events, webinars, awards, grants, and meetings. 
•    The position requires a time commitment of approximately 2-4 hours per month. 

Criteria
The CHS Social Media Ambassador will be an individual who:
•    Is currently enrolled or accepted into a Canadian hematology program, and,
•    Is a member of the Canadian Hematology Society (free Associate membership available until training completed)
•    Has experience using social media platforms. Experience with graphic design, photography, or video editing is considered an asset but not required. 

Term: The position is for a one-year term from July 1-June 30 each year.
