The CAE welcomes Fellows who wish to propose events that support the Academy's strategic priorities and provide value to the engineering community.
Please complete this short form so that CAE can assess your proposed event and determine what support may be appropriate.
To allow sufficient time for planning and coordination, event requests must be submitted at least 6 months before the proposed event date.
Event parameters:
- Maximum of one Fellow-led event per month (for in-person events, July, August and December are excluded from the event schedule).
- Events are subject to CAE approval, available resources, and staff capacity.
- Submission of a request does not guarantee that the event will be approved.
- CAE must approve the event, scope, and budget before any commitments are made or expenses incurred on behalf of CAE.
- Last-minute changes cannot be guaranteed and may not be accommodated once planning deadlines have passed.
Priority will be given to proposals that clearly support CAE's strategic priorities and provide a meaningful benefit to CAE Fellows, the engineering profession, or the public.
Important: Submitting this form does not constitute approval of the event. No expenses may be incurred, and no commitments may be made to speakers, attendees, vendors, or other parties on behalf of CAE until CAE has provided written approval.
