Where we begin

GETTING TO KNOW YOU

Community Pulse starts with a pretty simple idea: if PD Avengers is going to speak with and act alongside the Parkinson’s community, we need to listen — regularly, directly and to as many different voices as possible.

These surveys will help us understand what people are experiencing, what matters most right now, what is changing, and where people want to see action.

We’ll start with a few questions about you. This helps us understand who is taking part and gives us context when we look at trends and differences across the Parkinson’s community.

Because Community Pulse is ongoing, you only need to answer these background questions once. Your information will be saved to your Community Pulse profile and carried forward to future surveys. If something changes, you can update it.

At the end of the survey and in a follow up email, your Community Pulse Code allows us to connect your responses across surveys so we can understand how experiences, priorities and needs change over time.

When we report or share Community Pulse findings, responses will be de-identified and presented as groups, trends and themes. We will not report results in a way intended to identify you personally.

That means future surveys can spend less time asking who you are and more time asking about what really matters: your experiences, your priorities, and what you want the Parkinson’s community to act on.

Over time, what we hear will help PD Avengers spot emerging issues, identify shared priorities and, most importantly, help turn what the community is telling us into action.
